See how Flight Simulator helps me in this task.RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.comBlogger20125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1150160568070956172006-06-12T19:51:00.000-05:002006-06-12T20:02:48.080-05:00Fantasy Air Allegro 2000F:: My first Cross CountryThe day has come. I'm sitting here in a hotel room in Sansford, North Carolina. I had the chance to fly a very neat aircraft that most of you have never heard of (yeah, even you Mike).

Fantasy Air is a Czech Republic built LSA (light sport aircraft). When I think of flight sport I think of a little wanna-be aircraft that can go about 60 KIAS. I was wrong. This sucker can cruise at about 115 KIAS. The cabin width is wider than a 172, and even better, My uncle bought the first one in the US that's amphibious!

The ampib adds alot of drag, cruise is only about 80 KIAS.

I went up with one of Fantasy Air USA's instructors. My uncle was building his 10 horus for insurance, so Ed let me take a wheeled version up. The controls feel a bit different, the control stick is in the middle, with a bicycle like break on the handle. Rudder effectivness is VERY strong, more than likley do to the composite like feuselage that lets all the prop wash hit the veftical stabilizer.

Anyways, I flew the thing fine, I think Ed was impressed, even though my landing wasn't my best (that sucker is alto different than a C172!)

I'll have more on my journey later.

RossRFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com13tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1148524163814016282006-05-24T21:20:00.000-05:002006-05-24T21:29:23.826-05:00Things are going great!I've been so busy with flying and getting done with school, along with the other average things in life, that I haven't had a chance to update by Blog each flight...sorry, I know it's a real pitty for yall. Because I'm about 4 flights behind, I'll catch up in one blog. I'll also do it in a Chris Berman "Two Minute Drill" fashon

Let's see here....Stalls went great. I felt like I really got the hang of them. Next flight. my Brother, Blake, came along with me. He had a blast while I did some IFR hood work and show a couple landings. The next flight we did Ground Refecne Manuvers...they were FUN! Shot a great landing to close the day with a smile....Flight Training couldn't be better as of now.

I'm happy to say that life as a whole is about the same way. Tomorrow is the LAST DAY OF SCHOOL! And Friday (along with another flight) I'll be heading down to the lake for some relaxing time with the Humphreys family....should be a blast.

I also now have sitting in my E-mail box a plane ticket for Orlando, FL. As well as Raleigh Durham. Why? Because I'm going with my Unlce to pick up his new Fantasy Air Allegro 2000F. I'll have to details on this when I'm not quite as tired!

Talk to you guys next week when I get back from the lake.

RFRFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1147922184221039922006-05-17T22:10:00.000-05:002006-05-17T22:16:24.233-05:00Flight Log: 13 May and 16 May 06My last two flights were great. Good weather, nice and easy stuff....but I'm still learning a ton! I'm really working on getting the real feel of the aircraft. I also made my first landing on the 16th!

My next flight is on the 18th, time for stalls!

TOTAL PERSONAL FLIGHT TIME: 3.2 HOURS

On a side note, I went up with my uncle Kirk in his Bonanza V35B. We headed over to El Reno (yes...the tornado damage was still there, I saw a busted up Siminole) and did some T&G's and headed back for PWA. What a great spur of the moment flight for me to relax while up in the air instead of worrying about flying the aircraft. Not to mention it was in a real classic! I also saw my instructor holding short for us to land. I waved....but he didn't see me...;-)

Have I mentioned how fun this is?!? I'll get a personal update on my life here pretty soon....life is busy!

-RossRFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1147317902575601632006-05-10T21:59:00.000-05:002006-05-10T22:25:02.603-05:00Flight Log: Flight 1: 9 May 06The day finally came. Tuesday, May 9th. School was normal, besides me wondering about wether the weather would hold me back yet another time, or let me fly. It let me fly.

4:45 was all of the sudden on the clock, the lesson was scheduled for 5:00....time to grab my flight bag and go. I hopped in my truck, cranked the iPod for some pump-up music, and headed north-west for PWA. I pulled in to the old Commander Aircraft Company parking lot, checked the sky one more time, and hopped out.

My instructor, Rob, led me into a classroom where we took care of minor paperwork and such, and then breifed ourselves for the flight. We would pre-flight together, and then follow a rather normal procedure to the west. I would then do some turns and climbs, basically to familiarize myself with aircraft.

We did our thing and took a pretty long pre-flight inspection, Covering all the bases before hopping into the aircraft and starting her up. Man! What an amazing feeling to be in the left seat of an aircraft! We did our pre-taxi checklist, called for taxi, and proceeded to runway 35R (long taxi from the Oklahoma Aviation ramp!)

After our run-up, Rob called for take-off. I taxiied us out and lined us up. Rob reminded me of what a normal takeoff consisted of and followed with a "just tell me whenever you're ready". I was more than ready by that point, Rob told me to throttle up and go for it, and I did!

Once airborn I had a very wierd feeling. It was almost like it wasn't really happening. I would look at my instrument panel and things would be just like The Sim, but when I looked to the side and down it was a very eerie feeling, that's when it hit me. I'm actually in control of an airplane!

There was almost no horizon, which was a little different considering I knew I would have to break myself from fixating on the instruments. Instead, on this flight I needed a little bit more reference from the instruments, though it was obviously not IMC. I found this not as a nuesance but almost as a nice little comfort blanket, saying that I don't have to really break myself up to accomplish anything in this aircraft, but rather just feel what you want to do and be in control of it. I could sit here all night trying to explain what I'm trying to say, but I wont!

Overall it was a great flight! One rather large cut on my hand from the baggage door was the only injury, and I'm starting to really get the feel of the aircraft. My next flight is Saturday, and we'll be covering just about the same stuff, Which is really great. I really need to get the feel of flying an airplane. I can't do that by reading a book, I have to actually fly the airplane....It will come with time and practice.RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1147129189488949442006-05-08T17:41:00.000-05:002006-05-08T17:59:49.500-05:00Whew!Whew! Am I finally sitting down? These past few weeks have been nuts, and I'm ready for school to get out. Only 13 more days!!!!

Let's start with the bad news in my life- Last Tuesday, we put my precious dog, Mack, down due to health problems. He was an 11 year old Yellow Lab that I will miss very much. He was a great dog and you can't ask for more than that. At least he went fast.

The good news- I just saved a bunch of money of my car insurance by switching to GEICO! Just kidding! I still do have great news though. Last Tuesday I went to my flight school and picked up my CBI kit, as well as met my instructor. I also met a very important piece of equiptment that will be with me through my training. It's name is N9710A.

10A is a 2006 Cessna 172SP Skyhawk NAV III. Yes, that means is Garmin G1000 equippted. I can't wait to start training on this aircraft, and feel pretty lucky that I get to do it on this aircraft. My first flight was scheduled for last Friday, but due to those horrible clouds, we cancelled. My first flight is now Tomorrow, Tuesday the 9th, at 1700 Local. Let's just say school tomorrow might seem to string out a bit while I sit there and dream about getting to meet 10A again!RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1144608239908954952006-04-09T13:24:00.000-05:002006-04-09T13:43:59.946-05:00What's going on.....What all is on my plate, real world and sim world? Well....since you asked!

-VERTatc- My ATC program for VERTva is picking back up and getting some help from fellow VERT members, You won't want to miss some of the next activities that VERT is putting on. They're gunna be great!

-Video Production- I just put out my HC412 video, as you may know. It's had over 300 hits in one week over at Hovercontrol in the video section. I consider this a pretty cool deal to get that many hits on a video....I'm pretty proud and it makes me want to keep making them...Ironically the soundtrack for my next video just came on my iPod! It will be featuring Eaglesoft's Cirrus SR20. I'm trying to think of some good shots to get on this video, but I really just want to capture the full amount of features that this aircraft has to offer.

I'm also maybe looking into expanding my little "Senior Last Summer Video Productions" to something bigger, with a couple of team members and a full web-site, some parters with payware companies, things like that. If I got financial backing for it it might kick off, but until I get financial backing (Yea right) then it will just be me and wherever I can upload it!

On the more real world side of things...though still sim related. My next computer will be an iMac G5! Apple released Bootcamp, a program that allows an intel based Mac to run Windows (no, it's not a emulator...it's actually two partitions with two operating systems). I wanted to make sure FS would run well on it before I considered it. Thankfully, I ran across a picture of someone with FS running on an iMac! With 85FPS in Seattle! I'll take two please!!!

I love Mac's (I know....don't hit me please!) everyone in my family has one besides me! And I feel left out!! hehe! They really are great machines, easy to work with, has great performance, less hassle, looks badass!....did I mention it will run Flight Simulator?

Flight Training should start up pretty soon now, just a couple more weeks! May is going to be a great month for me, I actually might be going to South Carolina with my uncle and pick up his new Czeck Republic built Fantasy Air Allegro
that looks much like this (yes...floats!) This isn't a for sure thing yet, I might be too busy with school, but if all goes well I'll be flying it back....maybe.

That's all for now! Be looking for my new video soon.RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1144190205023619912006-04-04T17:36:00.000-05:002006-04-04T17:36:45.036-05:00What more can I say?RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1143938337940346162006-04-01T18:34:00.000-06:002006-04-02T19:44:26.083-05:00New Bell 412 Video! Finally got the darned thing done! Mike gave me the idea to use Edgar Winter Group's "Free Ride" as the song for the 412 video I've had in the works since the 412 came out. I got the chance to finish it this weekend, and I have to say it looks pretty good. Once I get active camera working (yea I know...I'm the only person in the world that would have technicial troubles with Active Camra....pssh!) My video's will start looking pretty good. For now, though, you'll just have to deal with the red instant replay tags and not-so-professional looking VC shots...oh well.

Check it out here!RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1142218162239923072006-03-12T20:44:00.000-06:002006-03-12T20:49:49.936-06:00Keystone here I come!Ahh! Yes! That's me LAST spring break acting like a christmas present....Too bad it wasn't staged and I really did fall into a tree! Oh the fun!

In two hours I'll be leavin for ol' Keystone again. It should be a fun trip to just get away from school and life for spring break. So wish me luck, I didn't break anything last year (Besides some sunglasses...haha) and I hope to have all of my libs in full working order when I get home!RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1141432343539923642006-03-03T15:58:00.000-06:002006-03-03T23:37:33.186-06:00Heli-ExpoMan! I had a blast and a half a HAI's Heli-Expo! Dad and I went down there Sat. and that night we met Mike at GKY, He gave us an aiport tour. I saw some very interesting things, like 3 cessna's (one 172 and two 182's) with the Garmin G1000 diplays!

I also saw a few other pretty sweet aircraft in the Harrison Hangar

Man! CJ1's are swweeeeet!

Once we got to Expo we met up with Paul, Jordan, and Behr. I also got the chance to meet Scott Westbrook, He's an HC staff member and currently works for Bell Helicopter's training facility. He was busy at the Bell exibit, and Behr wasn't with us for this shot.

Paul Robinson-Jordan Moore-Mike Parker-Me

We saw some very impressive helicopters that were on exibit. I'll have most of my pictures up on my Photobucket. You might also want to check around the HC forums for some good conversations about the Expo.

Now, If you don't really think that Flight Simulator helps in real world flying, look at this. This picture below is of Flight Saftey Simulation's S-70 sim. Remember that I've never even flown in a real helicopter before. I hop in this thing and besides the collective feeling a little different, and some other little things, I flew the hawk good enough that the guy starting giving me failures. I felt like I did pretty good! Mike tried it and landed safely the first time!

You cannot deny, after flying in that sim that the home desktop flight simulator helps build skills for the real world. When the guy gave me an engine fire I knew to reach back for the fire bottles, when he failed my tail-rotor I automatically tried to find the right spot for my collective to be. Yes, I know it's still a simulator, and no computer can give you that gut feeling, But it gives you experience, and every pilot in the world knows that experience is knowledge, and can save your life.RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1139197456928921272006-02-05T21:40:00.000-06:002006-02-05T21:44:16.940-06:00Well that sucks....After checking around for flight schools, we find the right one, unfortunatly.....They want me to wait till MAY....MAY!! To start training....Let's just say I'm not very pleased.

I finally get my hopes up thinking that this is it...I'm gunna start...now it's just more waiting....i've been waiting for 3 freakin years...and now I just have to wait longer.

My medical is just a piece of yellow paper now....until I yank it out of my wallet in May....May......February, March, April.....May....RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1138242349237807042006-01-25T20:15:00.000-06:002006-01-25T20:25:49.246-06:00I Got My Medical!Well it's finally done. No more worrying if I'm healthy enough to fly, now I know I can and I have a student pilot's certificate only signed by my AME and me!

Airman's signature
Ross Fischer

I'm an airman? In 6 months and about 29 days I'll be a pilot? In a month or two I'll be in control of an aircraft....by myself? This is crazy...and yet I can't wait!!

Flight Simulation doesn't have to be my goal now. I no longer have to make the sim "as real as it gets" cause it just got more real! I've never had the responsibilty of my life and the lives of others in my hands in the sim...This is totally different. A new favorite quote from my uncle is "it's not like flying a computer!" And it's not. I have to treat it like it isn't, I have to act like I don't know what everything is, or how everything works. Cause in reality, I don't.

I think that's the mentality that will keep me out of danger...Don't get cocky Fischer....you don't know everything.....heck, you don't know anything yet!RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1137813219798742752006-01-20T21:07:00.000-06:002006-01-20T21:13:39.810-06:00Medical Scheduled!Welp! Here we go, I've scheduled my medical for next Wednesday. This is the first big step in my training process. I might head up to the school tomorrow and chat with my instructors about training, maybe set up my first lesson for that next weekend (it's gunna be a long week next week!). I'm really hoping nothing pops up on my medical...yet I'm pretty sure everything will go fine.

Wow.....it really is becoming a reality isn't it?RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1136500547889164092006-01-05T16:12:00.000-06:002006-01-05T16:39:40.803-06:00New York, New York!

Yes, that's me
Note that Finney did the above helicopter for me several months ago, what a joy to see it in person! you can get the paint (For Owen's model/DODOSIMS as well) at Finney's Repaints.

My trip was AMAZING! I had a blast with the family and it was just an all around dandy time. We saw 4 broadway shows, did all the sightseeing, toured Yankee Staduim (go Yanks!) and yes, went to all three major heliports! I only got to see action at one of them though, it was MVFR most of the time, with a tailwind while landing Downtown or 34th, so no traffic when I went, but 30th was PACKED! I got some great pics as you can see! Remember, this is as close to a helicopter as I've ever been, And what a treat! I'll have more pictures up on the Photobucket later in the week.

BREAKING NEWS...For me at least.

FSX SCREENSHOTS!!!!!! It's pretty busy around here, getting ready for Christmas dinner with the family, all 41 of them! We're also putting together the anual Humphreys Family Calendar. My bro is doing the Photoshop work for it, Mom's the organizer, and I'm the tech nerd that has to fix the problems! It's not bad though...I just sit in front of a different computer and watch the pages print...

Meanwhile, in the Sim World, VERTEX is going well. We're having exactly the number of people i thought we'd have....3-4 online each night, with more participating offline. It's gone well and ends tomorrow.
I'm working on getting all my payware back in the sim, and then backing up all of the keys and such so i don't have to go through this again! I just got my PMDG 1900's in, just about all my Flight1 stuff, and I've for sure got my Eaglesoft and Dreamfleet stuff in! I'm loving ESDG's Cirrus SR20. I think I'm gunna hold off on the 22 until AFTER the update that they're doing for the 20 to give it some of the same features of the 22 (like more interiors, factory paints). Mike is getting the 22 after he gets his new XPS (lucky!) so he can let me know how it flies! He's gunna have to give me a head start when we fly together in our Cirrus' (or is it Cirri?). Speakin' of Mike, He might be coming up to Oke City Monday, if we're not busy we might get to meet.......oh no!!! LOL!

Once January rolls around, and I get back form vacation, I'm going to take my medical and get rolling (pun intended) on flight training. I'm oh so ready for it! I've got the ol' Flight1 172R out of the hangar for some great flights, getting ready for he real stuff, I think F1 did a great job on their model. I know how good it REALLY is in a couple of weeks...when I get in the real thing.

Merry Christmas! Have a great New Year!RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1134342424303926832005-12-11T16:42:00.000-06:002005-12-11T17:07:04.313-06:00You Gotta love ItChristmas is almost here. School is almost done, one more week and a couple of more days!

So what's new with me? Well, I went ahead and got Eaglesoft's Cirrus SR20..What a plane! I'll be doing a video for it in the future. I'd have to say it's not Eaglesofts greatest accomplishmet, I still think they're CX was their best model for the time, but they still have accomplished plenty in the Cirrus design, I personally wish the Avidyne MFD would be fully functional, But they have said they will contiue to deveop the avionics.

I'm also getting back into video productions...I'm doing one right now for the 412, and I've done a special one for the VERT variants. Check it out here. I just recently got Active Camera for some better shots! So far it's been a good product...but plenty more to learn about it.

VERTEX Is my top priority right now, I'm eager to see how it will go. I honestly don't think there will be a HUGE turnout, but we'll still have a blast doing it. It will be VERTatc's first action in a while, So that should be interesting!

Here are my next buys for the sim....maybe I should ask for them for Christmas?

Chelan Municipal by Georender

And Dreamfleet's Baron 58!

Well.... Ta Ta for now...I'll catch up to you guys later. I'm looking at the grocery list instead of the checklist to Jordan Moore's Bell 412 that I wanted to start up.

Thanksgiving break is here, I'm I'm glad it is...I'm ready for Turkey, football...and the best nap of the year, the one right after lunch! We're having 20 people over (sounds like alot...but it's actually less that half the family!) And 3 out of the 20 will be talking about aiplanes! I've told you about my Grandpa being a pilot, but my Uncle is also a pilot. He's owned and operated everything from a C404 to a C210, to his newest Piper Seneca V. He's even looking into a homebuilt challenger to put on floats for the lakehouse! :- D I'm sure I'll have some good talks at the table about my future career, heck...they might even want to see the sim! (The little ones always ask..."Ross....can I go fly?" I can't resist seeing 6 year olds flying an Extra 300 doing uncontrolled flips in the air...it's very amusing!)

Well, my work for the day is done...groceries are taken care of, I'm off to go get some stick time in on my newest helicopter!RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1132417647136292902005-11-19T12:27:00.000-06:002005-11-19T10:27:27.143-06:00Ahh....Saturday Morning! After a long hard week full of wierd, imaginary numbers...as well as radicals that don't make any logical sense whatsoever, I'm ready for some flyin!

I took my PMDG 747-400 up for some approach work. I'm glad it's a sim and I don't have to pay for operating costs. Last nights main objective was mainly approaches, and setting up the FMC for a proper one. The FMC is fairly new in FS, and it's spankin new to me. I've only used the ESDG's FMC that is in the Citation X, and it is far from fully functional. The 747's FMC is a work of art. I almost feel like I could hop in a 747-400 and preflight it (I think the FAA/CIA/FBI/NTSB wouldn't like it though!)

3 round trips from Oke City down to Dallas using the "BOWIE 2" (8 is now current, but my FSNAV is old ;-) ) definatly got me in some good approach time. I think I'm almost ready for one of those long flights...where you go to sleep once you reach cruize altitude, then you wake up and the sim is perfectly paused at your TOD. But I think I'll wait a bit. "Virtual United Airlines" might not be happy seeing one of thier prized aircraft being flown so badly!

Now it's off to my other training objective....Cleaning my room...."If you cant keep you room clean...then how will you be responsible enough to fly planes?" I'll give you one guess who I'm quoting....yep....My wonderful mother.

I will leave you with this though. It's a Podcast, and the author is an airline captain that brings his recorder with him on flights. He cover's the commercial airline industry from the pilot's and FA's point of view...it's pretty cool!

Fly With JoeRFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1132353812408038772005-11-18T18:39:00.000-06:002005-11-18T16:45:14.006-06:00What's Goin DownSo I've known I've wanted to start training for a couple years now. But now I get a chance to actually do it. I'm only 16, so the age limit was really the only thing holding me back (FAA Regs say you have to be 17 to obtain a PPL, and 16 to get your medical). My flight school advised me to wait till I was about 16 and a half to start training, this would give me the right amount of time to effeciently (both in the air and finacially) pass my checkride.

My Training:

If you look at the site of the school, You'll see that I'm training on some sweet, new(er) C172's. I'll be using CBI (Computer Based Instruction) for my ground school cirriculum. In other words, instead of the traditional, take a class for gound school...all of it at once, then go flying 6 months after you took the classes, I will be taking, on my computer, a lesson or two each week, then when I'm done with that lesson I'll go in the air and perform the manuvers that were covered in the lesson. This is much quicker (and less expensive) than traditional training.
Speaking of expensive, you're probably wondering how much this is gunna cost, and how I'm paying for it. They say it will cost in the ballpark of $6,000. This depends on how effeicent I learn everything (That's where FS comes in). My awesome parents will aid in the finance section, as long as I be a good little boy and keep my grades up. I'll be paying for as much as I can, but school comes first, which means I can only have a job in the summer. I have a feeling I'll be turning into a "ramp-rat" (like Mike!) to help pay for some flights!

Meanwhile, While I paitently wait for January to roll around, I'll just keep flying on the sim and keep those grades up! Hard work pays off!
Hard work isn't just for school, I'm actually trying to work hard in the sim as well. I'll only be flying VERY realistic flights from now on. I'm trying to cut down on the helicopter flying, don't worry, I'll still fly helos, just not as much. Right now I'm having fun flying my PMDG 747 around the world. This thing is SICK!!!! It's so real! Yet I do know that I won't be flying 747's for a while, so I'll be doing many flights in the pattern with my Flight1 Cessna 172 (I gotta find it again...it's on one of these disks!)
No matter what I fly, the important thing is to keep it as real as possible. I'll be working on setting up my flight's BEFORE I turn on the sim, and look into airport information, as well as weather and TFR's (virtual ones...of course!)
That's all for tonight, I think I'm gunna take my 747 up for some touch up's with the FMC and approaches. I got it into Oke City a couple of night ago, had to do it "Iron Knuckes" though, I think I messed up the FMC! <blush>

RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19082951.post-1132285317384636902005-11-17T21:16:00.000-06:002005-11-17T21:58:57.253-06:00First Things FirstLet me introduce myslef. My name's Ross, and I'm a sophmore in highschool that loves aviation. I'm a born and raised Oklahoman...and I love mexican food<hehe>.

I created this blog to share my experiences while I travel through probably the most memorable time of my life....No...not my adolesence, that would bore you, I'm talking about training to become a pilot....a real one.
I've wanted to fly as far back as I can remember. My Grandpa was a Piper Cub pilot in WWII (battle of the buldge) and later he owned a C172 that he used for his buisness, He's been a big influence on my life. "I miss two things in life. I miss jogging, and I miss flying airplanes" is a popular quote that I hear quite often from my 83 year old Grandpa. I can't wait to take him up with me!
I really began my urge to get in the air when I first heard about this little "game" called Microsoft Flight Simulator. Most of you have heard of this game, due to the fact that most of you know me because of this game. Flightsim has brought me closer to real world pilots, as well as real world aircraft. Aircraft like the DODOSIM Bell 206, the PMDG 747, and the Flight1 Cessna 172, just to name a few, that have gone past normal flightsimming, and into a virtual reality where you can mentally do everything just like the real deal, but you still miss out on the physical feeling.
This blog will help you see how I get past the simulator and start my career. No doubt, you will see how the simulator and the connections that I have made with the simulator will help me in my training.

Please keep in touch with this blog. I'll be updating everytime I get into the air (or when I feel like it)

Until Next time...RFhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10786544271264316311noreply@blogger.com0
